This web domain contains snippets of cinematic-art practices created for doctoral research:
"Self-Making and Self-Made Images".

 

Recognizing the technical accessibility provided by the digital cinema, the interest of this project is to experiment with cinematographic and editing practices;

and explore creative ways of engaging with existing online videos.

 

These experiments are being called: 'Stick Figure Films'; the concept signifies both, the easy accessibility of the digital medium (just as drawing stick-figures doesn't require much skills) and the choice of the personal, singular, ordinary, incomplete narratives in the films.

 

The research was submitted at School of Culture and Creative Expressions, Ambedkar University, Delhi.
